The ComStar product predated what is referred to today as "convergence,"  and "unified communications," by enabling the user to place and receive telephone calls at a PC, and also provided voicemail and speed-dialer functions via an intuitive GUI. The headline and subheadline captured the spirit of the product with a bit of hyperbole.
